Freshman Liv McGill leads Florida to victory with 18 points in College Station. McGill has now posted double digit points in 25 of her 27 outings as a Gator.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — The Gators picked up their 14th win of the season with a commanding 74-52 road victory over Texas A&M. The result also marked Florida’s sixth Southeastern Conference win, improving their league record to 6-8. Scoring was distributed across nine players, with Liv McGill leading the way with 18 points.


On the defensive end, Laila Reynolds topped the rebounding chart for the first time in her sophomore campaign, collecting nine of Florida’s 34 total boards. Ra Shaya Kyle added eight rebounds. The Gators’ defensive effort limited the Aggies to just 52 points—their lowest output of the season.

First Quarter

  • Florida shot 43.8% from the field (7-of-16), scoring 17 points
  • Eight points came from the paint; seven were off Texas A&M turnovers
  • Liv McGill led with six points, shooting 2-of-4 and hitting both free throws
