Alex Condon earned his second SEC Player of the Week honor this season.

Florida sophomore forward/center Alex Condon has been recognized as the Southeastern Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week, according to the SEC announcement on Monday.


In Florida’s road victory over top-ranked Auburn, Condon delivered a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds, adding four assists. Earlier in the week, he tallied 19 points and nine rebounds in the home win against Vanderbilt, while contributing four assists, two blocks, and avoiding any turnovers.

This marks Condon’s second SEC Player of the Week recognition this season, making him the eighth Gator in program history—and only the third frontcourt player alongside Joakim Noah and Colin Castleton—to earn the honor multiple times in a single year. His earlier award came after a double-double performance in Florida’s January win over No. 1 Tennessee.


No. 3 Florida will next face No. 22 Mississippi State on Tuesday at 7 p.m. EST, with coverage on ESPN2.
