AUSTIN, Texas — Florida wrapped up its 2025 regular season with a tough road test, falling to No. 1 Texas, 72–46. The Gators battled throughout but were unable to overcome a decisive third quarter in which the Longhorns scored 29 points, creating too steep a gap to close in the final period.
Senior Ra Shaya Kyle paced Florida with 12 points, shooting 4-for-6 from the field (66.6%) and a perfect 4-for-4 at the free throw line. Freshman Liv McGill anchored the defense, pulling down seven rebounds, collecting three steals, and handing out four assists to contribute across the board.
