Alex Condon led the Gators with 7.5 rebounds per game and 49 blocked shots last season.

Rising junior Alex Condon, who plays forward/center for Florida, has shared via social media that he will step away from the NBA Draft process and rejoin the Gators. Condon had been among the select group invited to participate in the NBA Combine held in Chicago.

In his second year with the Gators, Alex Condon racked up seven double-doubles and earned third-team All-Southeastern Conference honors from league coaches. His standout performances included a 17-point, 10-rebound showing in Florida’s upset of No. 1 Auburn on Feb. 8, followed by a dominant close to the regular season with 27 points and 10 boards at No. 7 Alabama, and 17 points with 15 rebounds against Ole Miss.

Condon cemented his legacy with a game-saving dive for a loose ball in the national championship, finishing with 12 points, seven rebounds, and four steals to help secure the title. Florida’s entire starting frontcourt from that championship run will return for the 2025–26 season. In the backcourt, Urban Klavžar and Isaiah Brown are back, joined by incoming talent AJ Brown, Boogie Fland, CJ Ingram, Xaivian Lee, and Alex Lloyd.
