Florida's Liv McGill was named to the 2025 WBIT All-Tournament Team after posting a combined 69 points across four games.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Florida’s Liv McGill has earned a spot on the 2025 Women's Basketball Invitation Tournament (WBIT) All-Tournament Team following a standout postseason showing. Although the Gators’ journey concluded in the semifinals, McGill’s performance throughout the tournament distinguished her as a rising freshman talent.

Across four WBIT games, McGill averaged 17.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per contest. Her back-to-back 22-point outings against UNLV and Texas Tech were instrumental in propelling Florida into the semifinal round.

Defensively, McGill added 3.5 steals per game to her stat line, underscoring her impact on both ends of the court. She capped her tournament run with an 18-point, nine-rebound effort against Minnesota in the semifinals.

Despite Florida’s loss to the eventual WBIT champions, McGill’s contributions earned high praise. “Liv was instrumental in our success throughout the WBIT,” said Florida head coach Kelly Rae Finley. “Her leadership, play making, and intensity as a freshman set the tone for our team, and this honor is well-deserved.”
