Florida again posted a NCAA Graduation Success Rate above the NCAA D1 average.

Gainesville, Fla. – Student-athletes at the University of Florida continue to reach their academic goal of earning a UF degree.

The NCAA Graduation Success Rates (GSR), released Wednesday, show Florida once again surpassing the national average. In the latest cycle, 93 percent of Gator student-athletes completed their degrees. The Gators' latest number is above NCAA Division I's overall GSR of 90 percent.

Twelve Florida programs reported GSR figures at or above the national benchmark for their sport. These include men’s and women’s basketball, football, men’s and women’s golf, gymnastics, soccer, softball, men’s swimming and diving, men’s tennis, women’s track and field/cross country, and volleyball.

Eight teams achieved a perfect 100 GSR: men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s golf, gymnastics, softball, men’s tennis, and volleyball.

Earlier this fall, UF was ranked No. 7 among national public universities by U.S. News & World Report, marking the eighth straight year the school has placed in the top 10. The combined GPA for all Gator student-athletes during the 2024-25 academic year reached a record 3.405, while 93 student-athletes earned bachelor’s or master’s degrees.

The most recent GSR data reflects the academic outcomes of four freshman classes entering Division I between 2015-16 and 2018-19.
