GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Gators have advanced to the 2025 WBIT quarterfinals and are set to host Texas Tech this Thursday evening. The updated tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. ET at Exactech Arena.

This marks the first time in program history that Florida has reached the WBIT quarterfinals. It also represents the second occasion under Kelly Rae Finley that the Gators have made it to the final eight of a postseason tournament. Their previous deep run came during the 2023 WNIT, where they were edged out by Bowling Green in the quarterfinals. Now, Florida aims to make history once again by clinching a spot in the WBIT semifinals on their home court.
