Micah Handlogten and the Gators will kick off the Rady Children's Invitational by taking on TCU in sunny San Diego this Thanksgiving.

Sports San Diego has officially announced that the Florida men's basketball team will start the Rady Children's Invitational by playing TCU on Thursday, November 27. This Thanksgiving Day matchup in San Diego will be broadcast on FS1 at 3 p.m. Eastern time, immediately followed by the game between Providence and Wisconsin.

The tournament schedule continues on Friday, November 28, featuring the third-place game followed by the championship. Both games on Friday will air on FOX, with game times to be announced later.

Historically, the Gators hold a 2-1 record against TCU, though they lost the most recent matchup in the 2019 SEC/Big 12 Challenge. Florida currently maintains a perfect 5-0 record against Providence and a 3-2 record against Wisconsin.

The team is aiming to secure their second consecutive holiday tournament title, having successfully won last season's ESPN Events Invitational in Kissimmee with strong performances against Wake Forest and Wichita State.

The 2025-26 season officially begins on Monday, November 3, when Florida faces Arizona in Las Vegas as part of the Hall of Fame Series.
