Me'Arah O'Neal returns to Florida for her sophomore season and will play a vital role in the Gators success for the 2025-26 season.

GEORGE TOWN, Grand Cayman — Florida women’s basketball is set to compete in the 2025 Cayman Islands Classic this Thanksgiving, with matchups now confirmed for the two-day event. The tournament will be held November 28–29 at John Gray Gymnasium in George Town, Grand Cayman.

The Gators will open play against Memphis on Friday, Nov. 28, at 7:30 p.m. ET, closing out the day’s slate as the fourth and final game. They’ll return to action Saturday, Nov. 29, for a 5 p.m. ET tipoff against Georgia Tech—a rematch of their 68–58 win in the 2023 ACC-SEC Challenge.

Now in its third year, the Cayman Islands Classic features eight programs divided into two divisions named after the islands of Cayman Brac and Little Cayman. Florida joins Georgia Tech, Memphis, and St. John’s in the Cayman Brac Division. Charlotte, George Washington, Miami, and Oklahoma State make up the Little Cayman Division.
