Florida celebrates its senior night on Thursday evening with four seniors posting a bucket for UF against No. 13 Oklahoma.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida will close out its 2024–25 home schedule with a matchup against No. 13 Oklahoma. The SEC game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. ET tipoff at the O’Dome and will be streamed live on SECN+.


This meeting marks the first time the Gators and Sooners will face each other as conference opponents. Florida heads into the contest following a loss to Tennessee, while Oklahoma arrives in Gainesville aiming to extend its winning streak to six straight games.

Florida vs. Oklahoma History

The first meeting came on Dec. 3, 2017, in Norman, Oklahoma, where Florida earned an 80–61 victory.

The second matchup went to the Sooners, who defeated the Gators 95–79 at the Jordan Brand Classic in Charlotte, N.C., on Dec. 21, 2022.


Thursday’s contest will be the first time the two programs face off as conference rivals since Oklahoma joined the SEC. It will also mark the Sooners’ first-ever appearance in Gainesville.

Florida’s Last Time Out

On Sunday, Feb. 23, Florida fell at home to Tennessee, 86–78. Despite the loss, the Gators held their own on the glass, finishing with a 47–42 rebounding advantage, and shot 46.2% from the field, outpacing the Lady Vols’ 40.7%.

Ra Shaya Kyle led the way with 19 points and 10 rebounds, recording her 13th double-double of the season. Three other Gators also reached double figures: Liv McGill (17), Laila Reynolds (17), and Jeriah Warren (11).
