Thomas Haugh earned the first weekly SEC honor of his career.

Florida junior forward Thomas Haugh was named SEC Player of the Week, the Southeastern Conference announced Monday. Haugh played a pivotal role in helping the Gators secure a rivalry sweep with victories over both Florida State and Miami.

Against Florida State on Tuesday, Haugh recorded a double-double, finishing with a team-high 20 points and 13 rebounds. He followed that performance with 17 points and nine rebounds in Sunday’s neutral-site win over Miami.

The double-double versus FSU marked the fifth of his career and his second 20-point double-double (20 points, 11 rebounds vs. Texas Tech; March 29, 2025). The New Oxford, Pa., native has reached double figures in all four games this season. He currently leads the Gators with 19.0 points per game while averaging 8.5 rebounds.

This recognition is the first SEC weekly honor of Haugh’s career.

The Gators will return to action Friday at 7 p.m. at home against Merrimack.
