Florida men’s basketball is set to make its 24th appearance in the Orange Bowl Classic on Saturday, Dec. 13, with a matchup against George Washington at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Fla.

The Gators hold a 19–4 all-time record in the Orange Bowl Classic, including a 1–0 mark under head coach Todd Golden. Their most recent showing in the event was an 87–76 win over Richmond on Dec. 14, 2023.
This year’s Orange Bowl Classic remains the only Division I basketball event hosted in Broward County and will feature a doubleheader: Florida vs. the Revolutionaries and Florida State vs. UMass. The Gators and George Washington have met four times previously, with the series tied 2–2. Their last meeting was a road loss in the 2016 NIT quarterfinals.
