Florida men’s basketball is set to face Miami on Sunday, Nov. 16, in the Jacksonville Hoops Showdown, presented by the Jacksonville Sports Foundation. The matchup will take place at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena.

Part of an aggressive 2025–26 nonconference schedule, the Gators will play seven power-conference opponents, with six of those contests away from home or at neutral sites. Florida’s ACC slate includes road games at Duke, a home showdown with Florida State, and the neutral-site clash with Miami.

Game time and broadcast details will be announced later. Intersport, a Chicago-based sports marketing and events firm, will oversee event operations.

Tickets go on sale Sept. 24, with presale access available Sept. 23 for fans who register at arena.jaxevents.com.

Florida leads the all-time series against Miami, 47–24, and claimed a 78–58 win in their last meeting during the 2019 Charleston Classic semifinals. The Gators also opened the 2024–25 season with a 98–83 win over South Florida at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena.
