Florida Gators Earn No. 3 Spot in Preseason AP Men’s Basketball Poll

Todd Golden will lead the Gators into 2025-26 with a No. 3 national ranking.

Florida men’s basketball has been placed at No. 3 in the Associated Press preseason poll, announced on Monday.


This is only the second time in program history that Florida has earned a top-five preseason ranking (No. 1 in 2006-07) and the 14th occasion the team has opened a season inside the top 10.


The Gators’ schedule features nine matchups against eight teams ranked in the AP preseason top 25, with a possible 10th game against Wisconsin at the Rady Children’s Invitational. Additionally, six other 2025-26 opponents are receiving votes in the poll.


Florida begins the 2025-26 campaign facing 13th-ranked Arizona at the Hall of Fame Series Las Vegas on Nov. 3.

2025-26 Florida Men’s Basketball Ticket Information 

Traditional season tickets for the upcoming 2025-26 season are officially SOLD OUT.


Arena Pass 

While season tickets that include Booster contributions are no longer available, Arena Passes remain on sale for the 2025-26 season. Priced at $450, the Arena Pass provides admission to all 15 home games without requiring a Booster contribution. Each game offers a different seating location inside the O’Dome, creating a unique experience for fans. Seat assignments are randomly generated weekly, and accounts can be linked for the full season. Single-game guest passes are also available for those who want to sit with friends.


All Gators Weekend Pack 

The All Gators Weekend Pack is currently offered for $149 plus taxes/fees. This package includes tickets to the Florida men’s basketball matchup against Merrimack on Friday, November 21, and the Florida football game against Tennessee on Saturday, November 22.


Fans attending the Merrimack basketball game will also receive a 2025 NCAA National Championship replica ring, presented by Meldon Law.


Single Games 

Single-game and select discounted tickets will first be available to Swamp Certified members on October 10, with public sales beginning October 14. Fans can become Swamp Certified for free in under two minutes to gain access to the exclusive presale before October 14.
