The 2025-26 season marks Head Coach Kelly Rae Finley's fifth year leading the Gators, holding an overall record of 75-60 at UF.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida women's basketball team has publicly released its non-conference slate for the 2025-26 season. The schedule features a strategic mix of home games, local rivalry matchups, and a trip to the Cayman Islands for the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Gators will start their season with a four-game homestand in Gainesville. Action begins on Monday, November 3, against North Florida, followed by games with UT Chattanooga (Nov. 6), Jacksonville (Nov. 10), and Samford (Nov. 13). The team will then travel for a non-conference road game on Sunday, November 16, at Navy in Annapolis, Maryland.

A major highlight of the non-conference season is the home game on Thursday, November 20, when Florida welcomes rival Florida State to the Exactech Arena. The focus on in-state competition continues when the Gators travel to Boca Raton to play Florida Atlantic (Nov. 24).

The team will then head overseas to the Caribbean for the 2025 Cayman Islands Classic, which serves as the team's Thanksgiving tournament. Florida will play back-to-back contests, taking on Memphis (Nov. 28) and Georgia Tech (Nov. 29).

Upon returning to the mainland, Florida will participate in the annual SEC-ACC Challenge. The Gators will play on the road on December 4, in Blacksburg, Virginia, against the Hokies. This will mark the first meeting between the two programs since 2014.

Florida will wrap up the non-conference portion of its season with five final games hosted at home: South Alabama (Dec. 7), West Georgia (Dec. 14), Florida A&M (Dec. 17), Tulsa (Dec. 21), and Furman (Dec. 28).
