Inside Gator Tales: Todd Golden Joins Sean Kelley Ahead of Tipoff

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Gator Tales with Sean Kelley, Presented by UF Health, turns its attention to the court this week as Episode 53 spotlights head men's basketball coach Todd Golden ahead of Florida's Nov. 3 season opener vs. Arizona.

With the 2026 season set to begin in Las Vegas in under two weeks, Golden and Kelley break down a busy offseason for the reigning National Champions. Golden also offers a look at what lies ahead for the AP's Preseason No. 3 team, which once again enters the year with major expectations.

After cutting down the nets last April, Golden became the youngest head coach to lead his team to a national championship since Jim Valvano in 1983. Under his guidance, the Gators wrapped up the season on a 12-game winning streak, highlighted by victories over nine top-25 opponents, including No. 1 seeds Auburn and Houston.

All Gators Weekend Pack

The All Gators Weekend Pack is now on sale, offering admission to the Florida men's basketball game against Merrimack on Friday, November 21, and the Florida football game against Tennessee on Saturday, November 22, for $149 plus taxes/fees.

All fans attending the Merrimack men's basketball game will receive a 2025 NCAA National Championship replica ring, presented by Meldon Law.
