Rueben Chinyelu and the Gators eye a challenging November and December leading into SEC play.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida men’s basketball has rolled out additional details for its 2025–26 nonconference schedule, building on previously announced marquee matchups and teasing two more neutral-site games still to be revealed.

The Gators tip off the season on Nov. 3 in Las Vegas against Arizona, followed by their home opener on Nov. 6 vs. North Florida and the annual rivalry clash with Florida State on Nov. 11. A neutral-site contest will precede their Nov. 21 home game against Merrimack, scheduled the night before Florida football hosts Tennessee.

Florida then hits the road for five consecutive games, including appearances in the Thanksgiving tournament in San Diego, the ACC-SEC Challenge, a visit to Duke, the Jimmy V Classic against UConn in New York City, and another Florida-based neutral-site game to be announced.

Three home games during the holiday stretch will round out the nonconference slate before SEC play begins on Jan. 3.

Conference action promises a high-caliber lineup at Exactech Arena, the Stephen C. O’Connell Center, with Florida set to host nine SEC opponents—Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State, Tennessee, and South Carolina—all of which competed in the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
