GAINESVILLE, Fla. — ESPN has revealed the matchups for the third annual ACC-SEC Challenge, with Florida women’s basketball set to face Virginia Tech on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025. This marks UF’s third appearance in the event, where they currently hold a perfect 2–0 record.

The Gators previously earned wins over Georgia Tech (68–58 in 2023) and Clemson (77–64 in 2024), and will aim to extend their unbeaten streak in the challenge as they head to Blacksburg, Va.

Historically, Florida leads the series against Virginia Tech with a 3–1 record. Their last meeting came in 2014, when the Gators secured a 73–44 home victory. The Hokies’ lone win in the series was a 71–59 result in Blacksburg back in 2013.

Coverage of the 2025 ACC-SEC Challenge will air across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ACC Network, and SEC Network. Full broadcast details, including platform assignments and commentary teams, will be announced closer to the start of the 2025–26 college basketball season.

Season ticket holders are eligible to renew their seats for the 2025-26 season through July 17th. Payment plan opportunities are available for fans who renew by the July 15th deadline.
