Walter Clayton Jr. and Alex Condon received accolades from SEC coaches on Monday.

The Southeastern Conference announced Monday that two Florida players have been selected for All-SEC honors by the league’s coaches.

Walter Clayton Jr., Florida’s senior guard from Lake Wales, Fla., leads the team in scoring at 17.2 points per game, while also pacing the Gators with 84 made three-pointers and 129 assists. He reached double figures in every full SEC contest this season and posted four 20-point outings in league play, including back-to-back performances of 22 points at Alabama and 23 against Ole Miss to close the regular season. Clayton also tied his career high with 33 points in the matchup at Kentucky. This marks his second straight year earning All-SEC recognition, after being named to the coaches’ second team in 2023-24.

Sophomore forward/center Alex Condon recorded six double-doubles in SEC competition, three of which came in victories over ranked opponents. His highlights included 12 points and 12 rebounds in a win over No. 1 Tennessee, 17 points and 10 rebounds at No. 1 Auburn, and a career-best 27 points with 10 rebounds at No. 7 Alabama. He capped the regular season with 17 points and 15 boards in just 23 minutes against Ole Miss.

Earlier in the day, Condon became only the second player in program history to collect three SEC Player of the Week honors in a single season, joining Jalen Hudson (2017-18). He was also recognized as an SEC All-Freshman in 2023-24.

Together, Clayton and Condon have helped Florida to a 27-4 overall record and a 14-4 mark in SEC play. The Gators have been ranked inside the national top 10 since December 9. In conference action, Florida led the SEC in scoring margin (+10.78) and finished among the top three in several categories, including scoring defense (71.6), field-goal percentage defense (.414), rebounding margin (+5.2), assists (15.6), assist-to-turnover ratio (1.5), offensive rebounds (13.0), defensive rebounds (27.1), offensive rebound percentage (.358), and three-pointers made (10.1).

This year’s All-SEC format shifted to three five-man teams, replacing the previous structure of two eight-man squads.

Florida, the No. 2 seed, will return to action Friday at 7 p.m. EDT in the SEC Tournament quarterfinals in Nashville, facing LSU, Mississippi State, or Missouri.
