GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida men’s basketball will launch its 2025–26 campaign on Monday, Nov. 3, facing Arizona in the 2025 Hall of Fame Series Las Vegas, as announced by the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame and Position Sports.
Fresh off a national championship, the Gators return to the court in a high-profile neutral-site matchup at T-Mobile Arena, with national coverage across TNT Sports’ platforms. The game is part of a doubleheader that also features BYU vs. Villanova.
Florida and Arizona have met four times historically, splitting the series. Their last clash came in December 2012, a narrow 65–64 loss for UF in Tucson, following an overtime win by Florida in Gainesville the previous year. The Gators also appeared in the Hall of Fame Series Charlotte in 2023, falling 73–70 to Virginia while short-handed.
Tickets will be available starting Friday, May 30 at 1 p.m. ET via hofseries.com and axs.com. Broadcast details and tip-off times will be announced later.
This Las Vegas opener marks Florida’s second confirmed early-season event. The Gators are also set to compete in the Rady Children’s Invitational in San Diego on Nov. 27–28, joining a field that includes Providence, TCU, and Wisconsin.
